Best Western Red Lion Hotel Salisbury, Salisbury

My stay at the hotel was pleasant, with spacious and well-appointed rooms, albeit next to a busy main road. However, there were only two hangers in the wardrobe which was a bit inconvenient. I did encounter a couple of issues during my stay, including a sink that would not drain and some stains on the pillowcases. Overall, the room was made up as a double, which was a nice touch.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room I had was spacious and modern, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a challenge to reach due to the steep stairs and noise from other guests passing by. The dated smell and smoke were not pleasant. On the brighter side, the staff was very attentive and accommodating, even changing my room to a nicer one when I raised concerns. The location is ideal for exploring Salisbury's historic charm, but the absence of onsite parking was a drawback. The dining experience was mixed, with some dishes not meeting expectations. Overall, a stay with both positive and negative aspects.
